Thank you for your interest in the Michigan City Community Enrichment Corporation’s Grant Funding Cycle! The Corporation was organized as a public benefit corporation to serve organizations that qualify as Section 501(c)(3) under the Internal Revenue Service and benefit the people of the Michigan City Area School District.

Our 2020-2021 Grant Awards are complete. Our 2021-2022 grant applications are available from September 21, 2020 through Monday, November 30th, 2020 at 11:59 pm. No applications can be submitted after this date. The 2021-2022 grants will be awarded in the spring of 2021. Grants are only awarded once a year. Our web site contains valuable information describing the documentation that is required from your Organization to assist the Board in the evaluation process. Please review the Grant Application carefully. Your Grant Application should be “all-inclusive”, as presentations will not be permitted. However, the Board may request a presentation from you after a review of the Grant Applications. If your organization is applying for more than one grant, you will need to use a different email address and password for each grant application.

During the application process you may print your application at any time. This may be helpful for proof reading it before the application is submitted. After submitting your grant application, you will be able to read and print it. The grant application requires supporting files.These items include a Financial Statement for 2020 and should be current thru the fall of 2020. We will also need a Financial Statement for the year 2019. There are several other documents needed as listed in the Grant Application.

The Michigan City Community Enrichment Corporation will present a Grant Writing Workshop by Zoom which will be geared to our grant application on Tuesday, October 13th, 2020. The program will be presented from 6:00 – 7:30 pm. Reservations must be made by email at mccec@emichigancity.com. There is a limit of two attendees per organization and the workshop will be limited to 40 attendees. Please be sure to email your reservation so that you can receive the Zoom link to attend.
